What does it look like when a media titan enters the retail energy space?

Crius Energy subsidiary Everyday Energy has partnered with Comcast under the trade name Energy Rewards to launch an energy marketing program to the cable company's customers in Pennsylvania. The partnership was designed to entice customers to buy their energy from the supplier in order to earn home entertainment-related rewards.

This move can be seen as part of a new trend among retail energy providers to offer additional value-added services, like entertainment or home security, in addition to the energy they supply.
